lyrics

BOY: There was that Christmas that I bought you a Roomba®, a robotic vacuum so you could relax
GIRL: It worked a little too well, became self-aware, it's been three months since I've laid eyes on the cats
BOY: I saved six weeks' worth of wages on that fancy perfume, the most expensive damn thing that I ever bought
GIRL: Made me break out in hives, swelled my throat and my eyes, was a whole lot cheaper than that EpiPen® shot

But if I could wrap up the feeling
I get after seeing
You when I've been away
Or put a bow on the beauty I see in your eyes
You'd be dazzled all Christmas day
And I don't mean to sound naughty, but if I could stuff your stocking
With the heat that I feel when we touch
I still might need twelve days of penance
After all the bad presents
But these things just might be enough

BOY: There was that one year I got you that sexy red sweater to keep us both warm at night, now what's wrong with that?
GIRL: Yeah, 'cause nothin' says "sexy" like a turtleneck sweater six sizes too big. Are you saying I'm fat?
BOY: There was that Edible Arrangement® of fruit dipped in chocolate that I saw on the TV and had shipped to your door
GIRL: But the dog beat me to it, and you know dogs and chocolate, took me 48 hours just to clean up the floor

But if I could wrap up the feeling
I get after seeing
You when I've been away
Or put a bow on the beauty I see in your eyes
You'd be dazzled all Christmas day
And I don't mean to sound naughty, but if I could stuff your stocking
With the heat that I feel when we touch
I still might need twelve days of penance
After all the bad presents
But these things just might be enough
